SHIPPING

PROOF POLICY:  Proofs will be sent within 72 BUSINESS hours (during holiday season it may be longer).  **Special Note - You will not receive a proof if you selected a non-custom color scheme with a name change and one-two additional words. 

Only orders that require a proof (custom colors) will be proofed after purchase.  All other standard orders (selection of color options shown with the addition of name and up to 2 words) will be processed and shipped according to information provided in the order and/or Notes to PrintChicks within the order. 

A shipping confirmation will be sent, along with tracking, when your order is completed.  If there is a problem with your shipping please check your tracking information with USPS.  USPS may not update tracking on a regular basis (PrintChicks has no control over that) and can take up to 7 days to deliver during the busy holiday season.  If you have a question about tracking, contact USPS.  If the order does not arrive, contact us at contact@printchicks.net with your order number and issue.  Please note:  The image in the shipping confirmation email is not the image of your personalized print.  It is a standard image.

Proofs will come from the two following email addresses:  kim@printchicks.net or shannon@ printchicks.net  Please be sure to check your SPAM folder.  If we do not receive approval of the proof after 48 hours of it being emailed, we will assume it is correct and the item will be mailed. We ship 8x10 and 11x14 prints in flat rigid mailers. All sizes larger than 11x14 will be shipped in mailing tubes. Prints are wrapped in cello clear bags to protect the print in the mailing process.

We DO recommend shipping either Priority or UPS if you need a package by a set date.  We cannot guarantee USPS standard shipping but UPS does guarantee their delivery date. 

DOMESTIC SHIPPING :  USPS has had an unreliable track record for delivering orders on time. In the event that an order is late, lost or damaged by the USPS, claims cannot be filed for your order until at least 15 days after the order has been shipped. Once a claim has been filed, the USPS will initiate a search for your order. If your order is found, it will be shipped back to us and the claim is considered fulfilled; If it is not found then we may receive a claim within 60 days. Due to the lengthiness of this process and the likelihood of orders arriving late, we do not consider the USPS to be a rush service and we will not cover the cost of orders that are late due to shipping issues.  If you want your order to be delivered faster (priority mail - average 2-3 days) for an additional charge, please select that option at checkout.  First class service averages about 3-10 days transit time. 

Please understand that we ship our items in PERFECT condition (in flat mailers or mailing tubes). We do not anticipate an issue; however, we cannot control the USPS and how they deliver the items. If your item is damaged through shipping, please contact us and we will work together to resolve the issue. We require notice of any shipping issue within 5 working days from delivery date. After those 5 days, we cannot guarantee any action on our part.

We ship to the address you list at checkout. If that address is not current and you need the item re-shipped, you will be charged a re-print fee. Our standard re-print charge is $10.00 per print. 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING : International customers are responsible for any and all fees and tariffs associated with Customs. These fees and tariffs are not included in either the purchase and/or shipping costs. First Class International is used for international shipping. Please be aware that this service does not include tracking or insurance. If you want your order to be delivered faster or want to add tracking to your order, please contact us for estimated delivery costs. This first class international averages about 6-14 days, but can take up to 20 transit days depending on location. We have no control over how long something can get caught up in customs, the only way to ensure quick delivery is to purchase priority shipping.
